As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Modern Workplace team providing better products and services to enable mobility and flexibility for our members to work from anywhere and anytime. Bring your technical experience in End User Compute (EUC). Provide third level support across desktop and endpoint computing hardware and software environment. Work with Microsoft Modern Management suite including Endpoint Manager, Intune, Autopilot and Desktop Analytics. Manage SOE Image and Application Packaging services, solutions and support project work using SCCM, MSI, MDT. Leverage best practices to deliver efficient end user services and advanced desktop support issues. Strong skills in desktop optimisation, end point management and asset lifecycle management. Your duties will include: Plan and facilitate patching for security and version releases. Manage, maintain and lifecycle of the Windows desktop image. Manage and maintain the Microsoft End Point Management including SCCM environment. Create and maintain a contemporary Modern Workplace environment to enable and improve end user experience. Maintain, lifecycle and optimisation of our end user assets, endpoints and mobile device management systems, operating system images (SOE/MOE), configuration items. Plan and coordinate complex application packaging. Maintain an accurate catalogue of End User Computing components. Provide 3rd level application and system support. Creation, modification, and optimisation of Group policies on desktop and VDI Environments. As the successful applicant, you will have: Demonstrated experience with strong technical capability in the area of End User Computing. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft platforms to design, build, and configure. Integration experience with Microsoft AD, group policy management and security models to configure application interaction. SCCM/ Config Manager, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Endpoint Manager, Azure Virtual Desktop deployments Azure IaaS/PaaS platforms, O365 Client virtualisation technologies and PowerShell scripting Experience in SCCM, SOE development and management, imaging and packaging Extensive experience supporting a Windows desktop enterprise environment. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills at all levels Demonstrated ability to engineer technical solutions and drive internal technical change. Strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Microsoft and ITIL certifications are highly regarded. Requirements and relevant information: One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available. This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
