For a client of expertech we are URGENTLY looking for an Applications support engineer to work for a smaller, but established and successful business with a global outreach. In this Hybrid role you will be working on a variety of tickets that may require reproducing errors & testing these issues as well as configuring the product. Another aspect to the role may be demonstrating features to clients and explaining functionally and capability of the platform. This role would be ideally suited to candidates who like to tinker with software and who have a knack for problem solving. Essential skills and experience 4 years in an application support Minimum of level 2 application support in Windows MS Office (365) Great communication skills Ambition to grow into management and/or presales Willingness and ability to “wear multiple hats” Desirable skills and experience SharePoint configuration (highly desirable) MS Teams Zendesk Document Management Solutions JSON Longer term this role would offer the opportunity to analyse improvements for the overall support process and to suggest improvements and implement these. Also, to grow a team of support staff and to manage this team. The other career path could be to move into more of a presales capacity, gathering requirements and providing demonstrations to clients of the platform.
