Located in Perth, you will work with a team of highly experienced engineers and project managers and be engaged our local, interstate and global operations. We're looking for a Senior Engineer - Earthing and Bonding, to join our Future Energy Group. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Delivering earthing, bonding and related projects from concept stage to construction and commissioning stages Preparing and reviewing design drawings, technical reports, ITPs, and other such project deliverables Design management of work packages and interacting with client-side engineers for design reviews / workshops, resolution of technical issues and design progress updates The development of technical resources to support design delivery, and technical training / mentoring of other engineers to develop additional capability, supporting the design team to ensure that engineering and commercial outputs are of a consistently high standard Estimating and preparing project tenders and proposals with respect to electrical scope Networking with other GHD offices to work collaboratively on projects where opportunities arise Performing site inspections and preparing inspection reports for proposals, design delivery and construction. Establishing client relationships What you will bring to the team: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (CPEng or actively working towards obtainment) Minimum 7 years experience in LV, HV and Earthing & Bonding detailed design including all aspects of documentation (reports, drawings, etc.) Thorough understanding of project development lifecycle Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Team orientation, cooperative with other staff and willing to share knowledge Ability to work independently and successful at self-management Preparing / leading job-winning proposals and marketing pursuits Sound judgement and decisiveness alongside proactive, analytical, and problem-solving skills Time management, able to prioritise demands across multiple projects and ensuring the delivery of services within budget.
