Senior Fire Protection Engineer — The Rocks, Sydney

What you'll do Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations. Develop ability to apply safety in design to all projects. Prepare technical reports on small to medium projects. Project Lead small projects within discipline. Write winning proposals and win job from a job. Apply legislation, standards, guidelines and project specifications. Contribute to developing the technical capability of junior staff. About you Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or Equivalent Developing technical skills across a broad range of areas within discipline (fire protection, wet & dry fire) Basic use of BIM software (Revit MEP) and how to use and review models Ability to prepare technical reports on small to medium projects. Ability to Project Lead small projects within discipline. Developing experience in monitoring and managing the scope of multiple varying size projects and applying business systems. Developing capacity to deliver best client outcomes/options which have saved the client cost/time. Experience in applying legislation, standards, guidelines and project specifications. Developing skills to identify risk in small to medium profile projects. Ability to apply QA and OH&S systems. Auditing of other more junior staff Contributes to developing the technical capability of junior staff.
