The Engineering System Coordinator (TRAX) performs a crucial role in the daily operation and performance of the maintenance information system (TRAX). This includes support and administration of all aspects of the Trax Maintenance Information System (MIS), and the management of key suppliers from Qantas IT and external vendors. Coordinates with the business for all modification requests, development, maintenance, and implementation of releases of Service Packs between the Trax Vendor and Qantas IT service providers. This includes stakeholder management, project delivery and communication. To be successful in this role you will have a proven background in Project Management, strong analytical capability, experience with managing multiple stakeholder relationships across multiple levels in a highly dynamic, safety-critical, or commercial context. Candidates with TRAX system or exposure to a similar maintenance information system is highly desirable. The successful candidate will: Good understanding of engineering systems and processes Exposure to the administration and maintenance of MIS systems Willingness to work extended hours to ensure task completion when required Built good rapport with members of internal and external partners Detailed understanding of the TRAX maintenance system software or similar MIS Working alongside internal managers and stakeholders to ensure system consistency Project Management experience or exposure High communication skills and approaches ensuring effective outcomes Implementing processes to continually review the reporting specifications to ensure business requirements are addressed Investigating reporting issues to ensure consistent data quality Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues as well as data integrity issues as they arise Fostered and developed a continuous improvement culture to identify opportunities for system and process improvements Experience with managing multiple stakeholder relationships across multiple levels in a highly dynamic, safety-critical or commercial context.
