This is an opportunity to lead the design of new products and take them from initial conception to fully manufactured object, providing engineering input to all aspects of design and manufacture. Required Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, or related qualification 6 years experience in a product development role Experience with DFM and FMEA processes Understanding of manufacturing processes, specifically: sheet metalwork, moulding/casting, machining, electrical systems Experience with test system design Experience with requirements analysis and pre-compliance testing Highly desirable: Experience in domestic appliance design Experience with refrigeration systems or thermal design Compliance certification Experience in supplier negotiation and quality management Project management skills using agile processes Work on developing new products for a prominent Australian company, developing products for consumer and office use.
