Position Overview: To be a leader in our business and assist in the delivery of Civil Construction Projects within budget and on time, whilst governing high standards and best practice ensuring client requirements are met. Depending on your experience, you will be working on projects across Road and Infrastructure, Rail, Renewables, Structures, Subdivisions & Land Development, Pipelaying, Bulk Earth Works in Mildura and surrounding regions. Please Note: The Project for this role is based in Mildura VIC. Accommodation / Relocation Package is negotiable. Initially this will be a 12 month fixed term contract. Overview of Accountabilities: Assist Project manager/Construction manager in the delivery of Civil construction projects Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the Contract Documentation Remain aware of contractual entitlements, notifying the Project Manager if program slippage is experienced Develop and maintain a detailed project lookahead Work closely with site supervisors to provide general technical assistance Promote & communicate program key milestones with the entire team so that everyone is working together Ensure the program is tracked and updated Negotiate terms and conditions and pricing with vendors to achieve positive outcomes for the project Develop construction sequencing and staging plans for the project Mentor and guide graduate, site, and project engineers Candidate Profile: Qualification in relevant field Demonstrated experience managing sections of complex Civil construction projects Demonstrated understanding of construction techniques & specification requirements Strong understanding of HSEQ best practice Great time management, with ability to manage budgets and track production To apply online, please click on the apply button.
