About the role At Origin we're transforming the way we serve our customers to make sure we're getting energy right for people, communities and the planet. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in helping define standards and developing and maintaining dev tools to streamline the development process for our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable and maintainable solutions, along with a passion for automation and improving developer productivity. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain dev tools and infrastructure to enhance the productivity of our engineering team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design effective solutions. Implement best practices and coding standards for ReactJS, TypeScript, Node.js, Docker, performance optimization, APM, and centralized logging. Integrate third-party libraries and frameworks such as Babel, MUI, and Storybook to improve the developer experience. Analyse and identify performance bottlenecks in existing applications and come up with strategies to improve performance. What will you bring? Demonstrated experience with ReactJS, Typescript / JavaScript languages & related frameworks Solid understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive web design principles Demonstrated experience with style guides and design systems such as Material-UI, Styled Components, HTML5/CSS3 & associated frameworks Demonstrated experience in front-end development, accessibility, mobile first responsive & front-end best practices Experience with Webpack, Babel and ESLint For more information, please contact Allison Wright - 03 9659 8120, quote Requisition ID 86672 or apply now.
