The Requirements As an individual, you possess an ambitious drive and boundless energy, fuelled by a deep passion for civil engineering. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, you've established yourself as a Professional Engineer (MIEAust or FIEAust), with aspirations towards becoming a Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or already making strides in that direction. Preferred registration as a DBPA Professional Engineer & Design Practitioner is a distinct advantage. With 6-8 years of hands-on engineering design experience within a consultancy environment, you've honed your skills and expertise. Your desire to evolve into a future leader is palpable, underpinned by your innate ability to cultivate positive and enduring relationships with colleagues and clients alike. Your commitment to excellence extends beyond personal achievements; you are dedicated to elevating the performance of your work and inspiring those around you to do the same. As an accomplished Senior Civil Engineer, you bring a wealth of experience to the table, demonstrating proficiency in: Comprehensive understanding of Australian Building Codes and Standards, adeptly applied in practise. Aptitude in development value management and value engineering, contributing to the enhancement of project outcomes. Proven track record in producing technical reports and conceptualising solutions that add significant value to projects. Proficiency in Civil 3D or 12D software, coupled with experience in utilising other relevant tools such as DRAINS, XP-RAFTS, MUSIC, HEC-RAS, and AutoCAD. Extensive experience in civil design encompassing urban development, including building projects, subdivision, roads, pavements, and public domain areas. Moreover, your expertise extends into hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, water quality modelling, and the design of drainage systems, including OSD systems and WSUD strategy development. With a knack for leadership, you exhibit the capacity to mentor and guide junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects. Your adeptness in interpersonal, written, and oral communication equips you to navigate complex negotiations and influence outcomes effectively.
