Senior Data Engineer — Brisbane, Brisbane Region

You will work in a collaborative, team-based environment and participate in a range of activities that support and deliver the Structures program of work across all functional areas of the team. To perform the role effectively you will contribute to projects using your analytical and collaborative skills as a senior officer, within a team of technical experts.In the role of Senior Data Engineer, you will contribute to Structures decision making processes by providing effective technical administration of structures asset management software and data systems. The role will include further integration and development of heavy vehicle access management and structures asset management systems to realise increased efficiencies and productivity through the automation and interoperability of different systems and data sources, and improved asset management.You will work with each of the functional areas within Structures (Planning and Delivery, Operations and Management, Systems & Governance) undertaking activities such as administration of cloud systems and databases, extraction, and transformation of data for engineering insights, maintenance/support of engineering software, and visualization/mapping of engineering information.
