See yourself in our team You will be team member of the Finance Platform Technology team who owns and supports the groups Finance Technology capabilities. Financial Services Technology delivers and runs the technology that powers the financial management capabilities of Australia's leading bank. The business capabilities we support within the Financial Services division include Group Finance, Business Unit Finance, Audit, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting, Investor Relations, Property, and Procurement. We manage almost 100 systems, deliver business change outcomes, improve system performance, and improve the employee experience for our user base. Our application portfolio includes ERP systems (e.g., Oracle), specialised business solutions (e.g., Quantitative Risk Management), and mobile apps (e.g., Staff Deals, xClaim). Working with our colleagues across Group Technology we are modernising the Finance function through SaaS, Cloud, AI, next-gen BI, and low/no code technologies while taking a data and architecture-led approach to simplifying the financial data supply chain. As a Senior Data Engineer you will play a key role in being part of the Subledger DevSecOps team. You will be responsible for designing, maintaining and optimizing data infrastructure for data management , transformation, validations and access to support end to end data flow for subledger data across multiple platforms. This includes defining and maintaining data dictionary and data classifications. We're interested in hearing from people who Have experience in data analysis, define data requirements, defining data products , and defining and maintaining data dictionary. Are experienced in building data models, developing SQL scripts, SQL tuning on RDBMS systems. Are experienced in system integrations with focus on defining data structures and data exchange patterns. Are confident in building group data products or data assets from scratch, by integrating large sets of data derived from hundreds of internal and external sources. Have experience and responsible for data security and data management. Have experience in CBA FDM (Financial Data Modelling) will be highly regarded. Can collaborate, co-create and contribute to existing Data Engineering practices across the Bank Can collaborate, coordinate, and communicate data requirements and data validations across multiple platform Engineers. Have a natural drive to educate, communicate and coordinate with different internal stakeholders. Show expertise in leading and driving end to end operational delivery in a large-scale SaaS/ORACLE or a Datawarehouse environment. Skills We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team; Experience in building data models, assuring data integrity and defining data products. Data modelling and data mapping skills. Experience with FDM is highly regarded. Experience in defining integration specifications between enterprise systems. Understanding of Ledger data such as GL, etc will be highly regarded. Understanding of Finance Service Product Systems data and processing will be highly regarded. Experience in working in Agile teams, including working closely with internal business stakeholders. Exposure to AWS cloud will be highly regarded.
