Senior Active Directory Engineer — Sydney CBD, Sydney

We are currently working with one of Australia's most iconic brands who are currently working on decommissioning legacy Active Directory environments. They are currently seeking an experienced Active Directory Technical Lead with extensive IAM experience. The initial engagement is for 9 months with a chance of further extension. You will play a crucial role in migrating the existing workloads from legacy domains. About the role You would be involved in: Performing assessment and analysis of the current AD environments and identifying areas for improvement and remediation. Fixing issues which are preventing required upgrades of the platform in each of the 5 AD domains. Upgrading Domain Controllers, AD Forest and Domain functional levels to supported versions. Deployment of tools used to manage core platform to ensure that the upgraded environments meet key non-functional requirements around security, reliability, performance, maintainability, scalability and usability. Providing technical troubleshooting for at a platform level until it is decommissioned. To be successful for the role, you would ideally: Demonstrated experience in Active Directory engineering, administration and support Expert knowledge of Active Directory architecture, design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Experience in upgrading and migrating active directory environments to supported versions and platforms. Experience in deploying and using management and security tools for active directory, such as AD backup and recovery, AD monitoring, AD auditing, AD group policy, AD access management, etc. Experience in working with complex and large-scale active directory environments with multiple domains, forests, sites, trusts, etc. If you are seeking the next step in your career, please APPLY NOW.
