Senior Customer Data Engineer — The Rocks, Sydney

Retail Customer Data using IBM or customer MD Platforms An inclusive, team-first company, our client is most known for their work in the retail space operating Australia-wide. Responsibilities: Manage and optimise customer data architecture and data quality engineering processes. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure data quality and integrity. Work closely with customer data platforms, specifically IBM MBE Advanced Edition platform. Implement data quality management and governance practices. Evaluate and enhance data privacy measures related to customer data. Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on customer data. Strong proficiency in MDM Advanced Edition platform or customer master data platforms Expertise in data platforms and services such as Fivetran, DBT, and Snowflake. Experience in the design, architecture, development, data quality, integration, and testing of bespoke customer data models, like IBM or Informatica. Experience in customer data quality assessment and improvement. Deep understanding of data sensitivity and data privacy concerns. Architectural mindset to ensure efficient data pipelines and landscape alignment. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team, with strong communication skills.
