We are currently looking for a System Engineer to work directly for our client in Parramatta. This position plays a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organisations technical infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the IT systems are robust, reliable, and meet the needs of the organisation. Serve as a primary escalation point to the Service Desk team Evaluate, select and install appropriate hardware and software solutions to meet system requirements. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation & perform regular system updates as required Implement and maintain back up, disaster recovery and security procedures to protect data and minimise downtime. Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including system configurations, procedure, and policies. Provide regular reports on system performance, security incidents and compliance status Implement changes within an ITIL framework to prevent adverse impact on operations. The key skills required for this role include: High attention to detail and a demonstrated expertise in conducting research on relevant business and technology, and able to provide a clear assessment and recommendation. Strong knowledge of system design, implementation, and maintenance Proficient in Networking, Operating Systems, and Software Applications Microsoft365 Administration with Azure and PowerShell, ideally in a Hybrid environment Skills in Okta, Cisco Webex and MS Dynamics highly desirable.
