If the thought of innovating at start-up speed with enterprise scale excites you, IBM Client Engineering is the right team for you Your Role and Responsibilities We are a "demonstration and innovation team" that prove IBM's technology and services through co-creation. As a Technology Engineer you will be essential with the installation and configuring of IBM software to showcase the client requirements elicited through user centric workshops. You will also have a focus on our generative AI technology called watsonx. IBM software runs on any cloud using Red Hat OpenShift container platform. Your role will include provisioning cloud infrastructure and the container clusters to installation and configuration of the IBM container software for 4-6 week proof of concepts. To be successful in this role of Technology Engineer you will need to: Demonstrate a growth mindset, curiosity and continuous learning Ideally have experience with deploying containers on cloud Design, code, and test innovative component-level solutions in areas such as cloud foundation, cloud services, cloud management applications, machine learning, or security applications Use DevOps and Agile practices and methods to plan and create software applications Required Technical and Professional Expertise Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (IaC), such as Ansible and Terraform, shell scripting Experienced in systems integration through RESTful APIs or similar. Designing and implementing automated CI/CD pipelines for DevOps Experimentation with generative AI prompt engineering and fine tuning is desirable Australian citizen who is eligible, suitable and willing to complete an Australian Government security clearance assessment Veterans are encouraged to apply Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Prefer 1-3 years experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift container platform. CKA or Openshift Certification would be preferred Prefer 1-3 years experience in private / public cloud
