We are seeking for a Graduate System Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Sydney / Melbourne. Reporting to the Engineering Manager - Tools & Capabilities. You will focus on assisting with the management and automation of our computing infrastructure, systems development, integration and support. What you'll do as a Graduate System Engineer: Delivering and maintaining infrastructure for a number of Symbio's business segments Enhancing our existing core systems infrastructure using automation and orchestration tools Advocating infrastructure automation and ensuring deployments are repeatable across development and production environments Driving continuous improvement, proof of concepts and constantly exploring new technologies, tools and ways Working collaboratively with Software and Network teams in deploying and supporting systems and services to achieve engineering best practice. Troubleshooting and resolving issues within designated business segments Working in an Agile environment, and helping improve these practices Qualifications What you'll need to succeed: A recently completed university degree or qualification in IT, Computer Science or Engineering related degrees, or equivalent relevant experience High performing, demonstrated by a credit average grade Previous work experience or internship is an advantage Exposure in Linux (Redhat/Centos) and/or Windows systems administration/deployment Scripting experience using Bash, Python is an advantage Ability to think outside of the box, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills You are highly motivated and able to work autonomously and collaboratively Excellent communications and interpersonal skills What's it like to work here?
