Data Integration Engineer: 6 months initial contract with a mining client Based in Perth CBD Skills: Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics Our mining client is seeking a talented Data Engineer / Integration Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics. Your expertise will help ensure efficient data transformation, integration, and management to support their data-driven initiatives. Responsibilities: Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement efficient data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics. Develop and maintain SQL queries for data transformation and cleansing. Integration Solutions: Design and develop integration solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies such as Boomi and MuleSoft. Configure and manage APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for data exchange. Write clean and maintainable code for integration logic. Data Management: Work with cloud storage solutions like Azure Blob Storage for data ingestion and processing. Implement best practices for data governance and quality control. Collaboration: Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure the effective use of data integration solutions. Qualifications: Experience in similar Data Engineering / Integration Engineering roles. Proven experience with Azure Databricks and/or Azure Synapse Analytics. Proven experience with configuring Unity Catalogue. Expertise in SQL development and data transformation techniques. Familiarity with cloud storage concepts (e.g., Azure Blob Storage). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
