Electrical Engineer — Clyde North, Cardinia Area

The Client Electrical Masters - AU is a fast growing company in the Solar industry in Australia. They have installed more than 1000 domestic and commercial projects from 6.6 KW to 50 KW. Due to their rapid success, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer experienced in the solar industry to join their team in Melbourne. The Role It is for a full-time role with an annual salary of $80,000 Superannuation and will be based at their workplace in Clyde North, VIC. Responsibilities Analyse electrical system requirements, capacity, cost, and project needs and then develop a system plan Perform detailed calculations to compute manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications Design and draft construction & installation drawings and sketches according to project specifications with minimal mistakes and ensure the drawing outputs are in accordance with project requirements and done within schedule and budget manhour. Direct procurement, installing and testing to ensure that the electrical product & System as built meets specifications and codes Evaluate existing electrical systems and recommend repair or design modifications, to increase efficiency. Planning power stations and power generation equipment, analysing and supervising the performance of the inverters. Prepare, submit and maintain the Solar Electrical Engineering Report. Determine the type and arrangement of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakersand other equipment. Perform the Energy production analysis, from renewable sources such as solar electricity production. Engineering support during Solar System installation, system commissioning and troubleshooting. Designing the BESS systems, off-grid solar system, hybrid system and on-grid systemwith backup. Utilise technical skills to get approval from utility companies despite the compact sized transformers in the country areas. Requirements At least a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering related discipline At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in a corporate setting, with a focus on the solar industry. At least 2 years' experience with power electronics, including inverters, converters, and battery storage systems At least 2 years working with of solar photovoltaic (PV) system design and installation standards At least 2 years proficiency in using industry-specific software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and ETAP Familiarity with electrical codes and standards, such as AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 5033. Expertise with Microsoft Excel and various data analysis and energy model tools Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced project environment with frequent deadlines and deliverables on multiple concurrent projects Strong communication, attention to details and organisational skills Possess critical and analytical thinking skills.
