At Enerven, we’re focussed on connecting you with tomorrow The Role: The office based Project Engineer is needed to provide management for the assigned design projects or the design/engineering component of wider projects and will have specific capabilities such as HV and protection design or primary design. As the Project Engineer, you will: Provide technical problem solving /technical engineering advice within the business for projects and bid development; Managing team of lead designers, secondary designers to ensure project performance whilst being the technical interface between the PM’s and Engineering department. Manage external contractor design and technical interface with clients. Contribute and be part of teams responsible for services engagement (internal and external) in engineering, design, construction, and commissioning; Coordinate and Technically Lead the engineering & design project team assigned to ensure project is planned, design processes followed (Design & SID reviews etc.) and scope, design budgets, timing, technical communication, and technical integration is managed; Ensure compliance of design with the relevant design standards, statutory regulations and Australian Standards; Implement value engineering initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle; Provide site-based engineering support during project construction and commissioning phases. What you will need: Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering, that will allow admission as Corporate Member of Institute of Engineers, Australia. (CPEng is desirable) Skills and experience of a technical nature in utility substations, transmission lines, commissioning solar or BESS allowing you to provide quality and interface co-ordination reviews. (EPC and HV secondary systems experience would be highly desirable) Previous experience developing and maintain design programs & deliverables registers to satisfy contractual requirements – desired Current SA Driver’s license Help us share in a brighter future with Enerven in a key role with a great supportive team, vibrant culture with genuine career development opportunities available.
