This is a contract opportunity to improve designs and manufacturing systems, providing engineering input to all aspects of design and manufacture. Required Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, or related qualification Experience in a product development role Experience with GD&T, DFM and FMEA processes Experience with test system design Experience with requirements analysis and pre-compliance testing Highly desirable: Experience in design for wiring or fluid delivery Experience in supplier negotiation and quality management Understanding of manufacturing processes, specifically: sheet metalwork, moulding/casting, machining, electrical systems Project management skills using agile processes Work on developing new products for a prominent Australian company, developing products for consumer and office use.
