A fantastic opportunity for an Integration Engineer with 3-5yrs experience, who has a passion for "all things automotive". Our client, based in the SE suburbs of Melbourne, is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of components for the automotive industry, providing a complete service from prototype design to full scale manufacturing They are urgently seeking a degreed qualified Integration Engineer, in either MECHATRONICS, ELECTRICAL OR ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING. This person will be responsible for the design, integration, validation and release of automotive electrical and mechanical systems, working alongside fellow team members with integrity, honesty and reliability. Principle Accountabilities: Design and development of accessory kits, including wiring, modules and brackets Analysis of Automotive Discrete and CAN electrical systems in relation to vehicle function Vehicle level installation of automotive accessory kits Development of fitting instructions / installation guides Ensure parts are ADR compliant Wiring harness CAD/drawing development, BOM, approval, release, and maintenance DFMEA / DVP&R development. Assemble CAD and documentation for RFQ/sourcing activities Support project management, sales, procurement, quality, suppliers and customers All other activities as directed by management Key Skill Sets: Compliance with automotive standards, such as IATF16949 Software knowledge (MS Office, E3, AutoCAD/Draftsight, Work Front) High attention to detail with a focus on minimising design errors Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Work autonomously while leveraging the team environment to ensure optimal product design outcomes Degree qualified electrical, electronic, or mechatronic engineer Multitask and effectively prioritise workload to complete tasks within time constraints Proactive approach to all tasks What's Next?
