Our uniquely flexible and purpose built facilities utilise the latest blending, granulating and packaging technologies, allowing us to maintain the fastest project completion times in the industry. Our extensive and proactive research and development capabilities together with our substantial investment in technology and innovation mean we can provide lower manufacturing costs and get our customer's products on supermarket shelves faster than our competitors. Our new Horsley Park site has installed a state-of-the-art high speed filling lines to enable faster production in manufacturing Household and Laundry care products with a capacity to fill approximately 14,000 bottles per hour. About this opportunity As Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for improving the reliability and performance of the NSW manufacturing operations, systems, equipment, and processes, (initial focus on the Horsley Park site), with the objective of improving the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of the operations. The role involves analysing operational performance, identifying potential improvements in throughput, machine availability, machine efficiency, yield, as well as identifying potential failure modes, and implementing solutions to prevent these failures. Your key responsibilities will be to: Design and implement planned, preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance program Optimize maintenance schedules based on reliability data. Utilize LEAN, TPM and or RCM methodologies as well as condition monitoring tools and techniques to improve machine reliability and OEE Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and performance Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement reliability improvement projects. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. Support and promote a learning organisation to solve problems and improve the operations Collect and analyze data on equipment performance and failures. Use statistical analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures. Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Develop and maintain a database of failure modes and corrective actions Assist in the development and training of maintenance personnel. Recommend design changes or modifications to improve reliability and maintainability. Leadership - provide structure and direction on KPI's relevant to a proactive maintenance function through Continuous Improvement. CMMS and Lean principles Assess risks associated with equipment and process failures. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Ensure all reliability and maintenance activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and reliability activities Develop and update reliability and maintenance procedures. Management of site legislative compliance, e.g. fire systems, EPA, DG Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you'll have: An Engineering and Maintenance Leadership background in a high-speed contract manufacturing environment Proven design and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects with a high-speed manufacturing environment with Lean or TPM manufacturing principles Proven Leadership experience of both staff, contractors, and suppliers Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in statistical analysis and reliability modelling. Knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), preventive and predictive maintenance techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., reliability analysis software, CMMS). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Automation, Industrial, or mechanical Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in reliability engineering or a related field. Experience with reliability and maintenance management systems. Experience in a contract manufacturing, FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry would be ideal, alternatively a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
