Join us. Job Purpose: Working with the wider business, aligned to planning team, to balance production lines to desired volumes backed by data. Strengthen profitability through: effective utilisation of skills, efficient build process and robust utilisation. Forecast and submit resource requirements within understood constraints (Present and Future). Key Duties & Responsibilities: Performing work studies on current and future processes to capture HPC (Hours Per Car) is the primary function for this role. Identify NVA (Non-Value Add) time and improve process to reduce waste. Constraints mapping (Understand process bottlenecks) and impacts of product mix change. Develop and maintain Man Assignments (Work Allocation Reports) and ensure alignment with process system (EASE) Maintain crew sheet structure and future structure Support sign-off approvals of containments and engineering releases Support Make-vs-Buy studies of new processes and insource/outsource activities Work cross functionally with particular attention to R&D, Manufacturing Engineering and Production Develop planning scenarios for future models in line with programme requests Participate and support the wider departmental objectives in line with Aston Martin business requirements. Engage, communicate and build relationships with key stakeholders across the business to enable understanding of the MBO process and utilisation of the department for balancing activities Qualification & Experience: Production experience & knowledge of assembly operations desirable Analytical skills and problem solving are essential to the role. Applicants should be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and related MSFT applications e.g. Word Good communication skills are key, to enable engagement at all levels from shop floor to Management Industrial Engineering and Headcount Planning experience desirable but not essential Hold a full, clean driving licence. Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter is advantageous, but not required.
