In this role, you will be pivotal in managing and improving our Salesforce environments, focusing on enhancing processes through the adoption of best practices and the seamless integration of development and support functions. This position is crucial for the smooth operation of our applications function, requiring strong leadership skills to effectively guide the team. Responsibilities: Contribute to the design, build and operational management of a highly scalable, secure and available PaaS/SaaS platform, ensuring it can operate 24×7. Provide out-of-hours or on-call services. Work with our cross functional teams including security, architects and delivery to deliver the right solutions. Work to reduce or remove bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the ecosystem. In collaboration with the product teams, work to reduce or eliminate manual or repetitive tasks. Manage complex technical solutions to support BSI various environments. Champion and embody a mindset of agile delivery and continuous improvement whilst aligning to IT global process and keeping focus on business outcomes. Support and mentor junior members of team. To be successful in the role, you will have: Extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or in a similar technical leadership role. Strong proficiency in Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud, with a deep understanding of their architecture and capabilities. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks. Proven track record of working with stakeholders in large, complex organizations, demonstrating a great ability to listen and navigate competing sets of priorities, business opportunities, and challenges.
