12 12 12 months, Canberra City 2 days WFH Ability to obtain NV1 security clearance required Pay flexibility, LSL, novated car leasing options Our client, a large Federal Government Department, requires the services of experienced Network Engineers to be imbedded in the Digital Connect Program to ensure a successful planning and execution. About the role - Network Engineer The Digital Connect Program (the Program) is a two-year initiative designed to transition the department's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services from the current shared service model to a service fully managed internal to the department. The Program aims to transition and enhance the department's information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure, processes, and service delivery models to ensure we meet strategic objectives and operational requirements. Duties Developing, maintaining, and sharing accurate documentation for reference. Conduct assessments and documenting the current state of existing networks Troubleshooting network problems, outages, and scheduling upgrades, enhancing network performance over time; Skills / Experience Experience in building Local / Metropolitan / Wide Area, and Data Centre networks where require Experience in establishing secure network systems by enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
