Roster: 4D/3R - FIFO ex Perth We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our dynamic team and play a vital role in powering the future of mining operations. As a Senior Electrical Engineer supporting our mining operations, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and innovation. Your expertise will be instrumental in overseeing a team focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems that drive efficiency, safety, and productivity throughout our mining facilities. Key Responsibilities Lead an electrical engineering team to anticipate and proactively resolve potential problems to ensure a zero-harm environment through technical solutions. Manage electrical engineering team workload and prioritise workflow. Dedication to providing consistent communication and progress updates to all relevant stakeholders. Champion working with advanced technology to cater for green energy demand. Liaison with relevant departments to provide clear communication on the direction of technical solutions. Stakeholder management and change management. Overseeing auditing of delay accounting data to ensure delays and down time are captured correctly within the time usage model. Propose improvement ideas 3and initiate and execute improvement projects. Identify and champion safety initiatives and initiate and execute to improve safety. Carry out root cause analysis for plant down time and breakdown events as required. Completing and managing reviews and tasks to improve the reliability of assets and/or improve safety. Become a stakeholder for capital projects and provide technical support as required. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) Proven ability to work collaboratively with a team of similarly disciplined professionals overseeing safety and efficiency of ore processing facility fixed plant. High level planning, organisational, and coordination skills. Sound communication and stakeholder management capability. Strong experience with leading root cause analysis investigations. Previous experience with VSDs, Protection relays and Power system analysis. Demonstrated high competency with the SAP program.
