The Role We are on the lookout for an experienced Engineering Manager to steer the development and implementation of software solutions that support the company's strategic goals. You will work closely with senior managers to define software requirements and lead both operational and technical projects. Your deep expertise in software engineering, especially within a .Net and Azure environment will be crucial for delivering high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities include: Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of software engineers. Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects. Establish and enforce best practices in software design and architecture. Ensure compliance with security standards and perform vulnerability assessments. Oversee the stability and scalability of the technology platform. Lead the adoption of new technologies and methodologies. Ensure thorough documentation of software systems and processes. Facilitate sharing of best practices and lessons within the team. Develop and implement strategic plans to meet technical and business goals. Identify and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality. Participate in long-term planning and budgeting for software development. Lead hyper-automation and standardization initiatives using tools like Decision Model Notation (DMN) and Business Process Model Notation (BPMN). Drive modern cloud architecture practices, including Infrastructure as Code and DevOps pipelines. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an organised individual with excellent communication skills and a talent for building relationships. You should have a passion for mentoring developers and sharing knowledge. To be successful in this role, you must have unrestricted full-time working rights in Australia and possess: Prior experience leading a team of software engineers. Extensive background in software engineering, particularly within a .NET and Azure environment Expertise in API development (Azure APIM), Microservices and hyper-automation Ability to manage stakeholders This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic company that values flexibility and supports professional growth.
