About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team for the Majors Road Project in South Australia. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a major infrastructure project and play a key part in its successful delivery. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day project construction activities to ensure compliance with technical, safety, quality, environmental, and commercial standards. Monitor and report workforce and subcontractor performance. Provide constructability advice, including temporary works designs, safety, and site access during design reviews. Develop, monitor, and control project schedules to ensure timely completion. Plan and implement site establishment activities, meeting all site-specific and contractual requirements. Identify and mitigate potential risks, maintaining a risk register and initiating corrective actions as needed. Manage changes to scope, deliverables, schedule, and budget, analyzing variances, trends, and operational performance. Integrate environmental considerations into all construction activities. Required Skills and Competencies Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management. Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a similar role within the infrastructure sector. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams with strong verbal and written communication skills. Planning and Negotiation: Highly developed planning and negotiation abilities. Team Management: Strong relationship-building skills with team members, clients, and subcontractors. Problem-solving: Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, focused on timely solutions. Why ACCIONA?
