Strategy and Precincts The Strategy and Precincts is a Group within the Department of Transport and Planning which defines and plans the needs and approach to Victorian places and communities. Integrated Land and Transport Planning division Working collaboratively across state and local government, the division leads strategic land use and transport planning to shape a thriving and connected Victoria. The division delivers complex integrated land use and transport planning policies, guidance material, projects, studies and planning scheme amendments. Through this work, the division shapes how our places and transport networks are designed and planned, to deliver well located housing, jobs and services in healthy communities and environments. Integrated Transport Advice branch The Integrated Transport Advice provides outcomes-focused strategic advice and strategic alignment assurance, facilitating robust decision making on emerging issues, and coordinating departmental responses to key reports. Supports strategy and policy development across the department through the identification of key knowledge needs and evidence gaps, and coordination and communication of a range of research projects and products to help address them.
