Senior Infrastructure Systems Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on project activities and delivering project outcomes, including but not limited to the Technical Currency Project, ensuring our Microsoft Windows Infrastructure and Platform Technologies continue to operate seamlessly during the infrastructure server migration and upgrade. WHAT'S ON OFFER: $900.00 A Day inclusive of superannuation St Kilda road, Hybrid working 2 days office. Leading Healthcare provider, great team culture. 6 Month contract, with room for extensions. THE ROLE: Key responsibilities include leading product migration, designing and implementing Windows OS upgrades, and developing solutions for Active Directory, Windows Server, and Windows Security. The role involves maintaining server infrastructure stability, ensuring security compliance, and working on automation using PowerShell scripting. Expertise in SCCM/Intune, Azure AD Connect, VMware VCF/vSphere, and ITIL-based processes is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong technical qualifications, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record in enterprise infrastructure implementation and administration. You will collaborate with internal teams, hospital staff, and external vendors, providing Level 3 support and troubleshooting as needed THE COMPANY: A leading private provider of health services in Australia. TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Technical Qualifications: Tertiary and vendor-aligned technical qualifications with platform (server & OS), connectivity, and security elements (e.g., university degree RHCE or similar). Experience: 3 years of commercial experience in enterprise infrastructure implementation and administration. ITIL Knowledge: Knowledge of the ITIL framework and experience implementing ITIL-based IT Service Management processes. Technical Knowledge: MUST HAVE: Strong knowledge of Windows Operating System Microsoft and Atlassian productivity, communication & collaboration technologies Core infrastructure and database services Protocols including DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP Scripting Skills: Demonstrated PowerShell scripting skills. Security Management: Practical knowledge of security management in an enterprise-class environment. Support Provision: Provide Level 3 support for escalated service desk incidents and service requests. Leadership and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; technical writing experience preferred.
