What we are looking for: A suitably qualified Engineer to join our Continued Airworthiness Maintenance Organisation, responsible for initiating and efficiently coordinating remedial actions for AOG aircraft, ensuring on-time performance is maintained. Responsibilities The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for but not limited to: Managing the control and completion of all assigned SMS actions and Findings in a timely manner. Promoting and maintaining a high standard of quality, safety and security compliance as required by the Alliance Airlines Corporate Safety Manual. Promoting safety & security reporting within SMS by all staff. Ensuring a high standard of OH&S and environmental compliance in accordance with state law. Promoting High Dispatch Reliability & On-Time performance by ensuring AOG rectifications are expedited and coordinated efficiently to optimise scheduled operations. Providing support in relation to technical requests raised via the CAMO database Coordinating oversight and management of the Dent & Buckle file for all aircraft in the alliance fleet. Providing technical support to Heavy Maintenance events for the Alliance fleet in conjunction with the on-site Technical Representative. Liaising with Sub-Contract maintenance organisations as required to achieve operational requirements. Providing technical support to Alliance Engineering as part of the day to day operations. Liaising with manufacturers or vendors for the resolution of technical problems. Evaluating defects for possible revisions to maintenance requirements. Skills High Level of Computer literacy Excellent communication skills; oral & documentation Have excellent organisational and Time Management skills Able to respond to sudden changes to work requirements. Able to liaise and work with various levels of people Attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team focussed environment Initiative and issue resolution skills Strong analytical and reasoning skills Qualifications 5 years total in aviation in a similar environment AME on Alliance Aircraft types Knowledge Familiarity with aircraft types under maintenance (F70, F100, E190) All candidates must have full working rights within Australia, only candidates with a right to work in Australia will be considered.
