Your expertise in embedded systems, RTOS, STM32 microchips will be instrumental in creating robust and scalable solutions. You will work closely with a talented team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. The position is based in Canberra and requires mainly on-site attendance. Responsibilities Designing and implementing embedded software components ensuring scalability, reliability and performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including electronics, systems and mechanical engineers, and product managers, to define software requirements and guide the development process. Documenting detailed technical information, including architectural designs and user guides. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components to identify and resolve issues promptly. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in embedded systems development. Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Extensive hands-on experience in embedded software development, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects. A solid understanding of embedded systems architecture, including microcontrollers/microprocessors, peripherals, and real-time operating systems. Strong proficiency in Embedded C and experience with RTOS (esp. ThreadX). Familiarity with communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and wireless technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Important Information: Must have Australian Permanent Residence or Australian citizenship . Access to technology controlled under USA ITAR is required so your nationality history may limit eligibility. Based in the Canberra office and is unsuitable for remote workers .
