Opportunity with CMW Geosciences Our team in Perth is looking to hire a Senior or Associate level Geotechnical/Engineering Geologist with extensive site investigation, construction, design and field experience. You will work primarily within the site investigation team providing review and oversight to the wider team from the proposal stage through to report/design delivery. Furthermore your duties will include: Scoping and costing various projects from small to large scale Providing consistent technical quality of project delivery with occasional review and supervision required Prepare technical documents and other correspondence Work at the direction of senior technical staff to support progress in all aspects of project delivery with little supervision Work with the technical team to develop technical solutions using a robust understanding of engineering and geological principles based on experience gained Ensure that the projects are completed on time, within budget and to the desired quality standards Maintaining good relationships with existing clients and working with the client relations/business development team to target new opportunities Mentor & train graduates to junior level staff In terms of projects you will be involved in working on: Various civil infrastructure projects (e.g. MRWA, PTA) Renewable energy (solar & wind farms) Mining & other energy projects across WA Large scale international projects To be eligible we are looking for the following: Qualified Civil/Geotechnical Engineer or similar with a minimum of 6 years of experience working in a consulting engineering environment Demonstrated experience in site investigation and geotechnical consulting projects Ability to use basic theoretical knowledge of engineering/engineering geology principals Proven history of being able to deliver projects on time and budget Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is a must Open to travelling and working in remote locations Interested in applying?
