Large port site, career growth, roles in Newcastle & Mackay $200,000-$120,000 pkg The Opportunity This is a multi-disciplinary engineering, design, and consulting firm with specialised expertise in engineering and asset integrity solutions for large-scale complex structural projects in ports and mines You'll be working from the design office and/or from the office of one of the world's largest port terminals. Working with a highly experienced team of Engineers in a vibrant environment, you’ll be involved in a wide variety of interesting and challenging projects. This will involve improving the asset integrity of wharves, jetties and materials handling structures with maintenance and repair designs. About you: Experienced or Senior Structural Engineer 6-15 years exp. in maintenance-related structural design Tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering Ideally CPEng (or moving towards) Know structural maint. methods (wharves, jetties, materials handling) Ability to communicate engineering requirements at all levels Experience in structural steel maintenance Self-starter with hands on structural calculations & design softwares Other requirements: Either resident of, or able to relocate to either Newcastle or Mackay Ability to obtain Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) Ability to obtain a construction Industry ‘White Card’ C class driver's licence What’s on Offer Remuneration between $120k to $200k (negotiable on experience) Payment for all hours worked How To Apply Initial enquiries in complete confidence to Neil on 0410 313 840.
