As a Staff Systems Engineer in one of the Cloud Foundation team, you will guide product teams on- boarding to the CBA Cloud platform on how to consume cloud services in a safe, scalable way. You will solve problems, design solutions for migrating services to the cloud, and implement the infrastructure components while working closely with product team engineers to ensure that they can operate the implementation once you hand it over to them. In this role you will need strong communication and presentation skills to advise a wide range of stakeholders, from junior engineers to senior management. We're interested in hearing from people who Have experience collaborating with cross functional teams to elicit requirements for the cloud infrastructure Can mentor and provide direction to engineering teams on best practices for cloud Have experience in Software Engineering/DevOps/System Engineering in a Cloud based environment Possesses hands-on technical experience working in a public cloud environment ideally using AWS Are passionate about Cloud/DevOps/Automation and possess a keen interest to solve complex problems in a systematic approach Tech skills We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team; Capable of working with CI/CD tools like; Jenkins, BitBucket, Bamboo CodeBuild, CodePipeline, TeamCities, Artifactory, Docker Registry, ArgoCD.
