You will have: Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering from an accredited University, Masters (preferred), alternatively, tertiary level education combined with suitable industry experience can be used to demonstrate equivalence Further qualification in Commerce / Business / Data Analytics or previous commercial exposure would be advantageous Chartership or relevant professional engineer status accredited by a national or industry engineering institution preferred Minimum Experience: Requires mature professional knowledge and extensive progressive experience in Oil and Gas and/or Power Engineering Typically requires 6 to 10 years progressively more responsible pertinent experience; developing his/her area, and knowledgeable about impacts on other areas Role-Specific Skills and Knowledge: Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates Professional level of ability in the application of standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution Professional level of knowledge of applicable codes and standards Technically competent in own discipline, pursues continuous professional development of skills and knowledge according to standards Maintains own knowledge of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments and promotes to direct reports Demonstrated skills in persuasion, negotiation, motivation and communication Demonstrated proficiency in project planning Possess a working knowledge of the various Business Units, Functions, Sectors and services offered within business area, and general understanding of other Wood business offerings.
