Role description: Off the back of exciting project wins, Arcadis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer Independent Assurance Representative to lead the MEI team on a major infrastructure project in Melbourne. Role accountabilities: Certification of Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation for road tunnel and surface infrastructure. Manage the delivery of projects to meet time, quality and health and safety targets 20 years experience in MEI design and construction. HV and LV substation installations and commissioning. Managing and coordination of Building Services installation and commissioning. Reviewing construction work lots and completion packages. Reviewing and responding to ITPs, RFIs, SIs and Non-Conformance Reports Early identification of potential MEI design and construction related issues. Manage all aspects of the client relationship so that delivery meets or exceeds client expectations Take a leadership role with the project team, providing both direction and technical advice and leading by example where appropriate Mentor and coach junior project team members, fostering their growth and development within Arcadis Actively engage with stakeholders and clients to understand their needs, identify opportunities for value-added solutions, and build long-term relationships that contribute to the growth and success of the business Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to translate the business strategy into actionable plans and initiatives Identify and pursue opportunities to develop the Arcadis' client relationships. Qualifications & Experience: Postgraduate qualifications in Electrical Engineering or A grade Electrical licenses. Construction project management related areas an advantage. Relevant Project Management professional accreditation or equivalent experience Strong commercial background, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures, including international conditions and ability to take commercial responsibility for a project.
