About your new role: KBR is committed to driving forward our digital agenda, revolutionizing how we collaborate with partners and clients to deliver innovative solutions. Our current focus is on collaborating with KBR’s engineering delivery teams to support the execution of significant projects across Victoria and Australia. Our efforts involve leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital engineering, and virtual reality to enhance project delivery. You will join our project delivery team at the design and construction phase, where you will directly contribute to coordinating the quality and timely delivery of design models. Your role will involve active participation in our virtual design review processes, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives. This opportunity will allow you to expand both your coordination and technical skills within a supportive, long-term program of works. On the job training and learning opportunities may include the following: • Digital Engineering Project Delivery • Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) (BIM) • Construction Planning • Digital Twin Technology • Optioneering • GIS • VR/AR • Parametric programming/scripting and modelling (Generative Components/ Dynamo/Rhyno/Grasshopper/Python) • Digital Data Survey Capture • Drone Technology • IoT Device Monitoring Who You Are: Passionate about digital engineering with a keen interest in the construction and engineering sectors. Demonstrated experience or background, including internships or similar roles within a consulting firm or related industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, thriving in collaborative team environments to deliver exceptional service. Skills and Experience: Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate Diploma / Diploma in Engineering, or relevant academic background. Software Skills: Familiarity with 3D modeling tools such as 12D, Bentley Open Suite, Autodesk products, and coordination packages like Navisworks, Revizto, Bentley Synchro, iConstruct, etc. Curious and Driven : You share our vision for a better, more sustainable world.
