About the role Our client is a global leading Solar Energy Manufacturer who specilaise in PV inverter system solution and energy storage equipment for residential, commercial, and utility-scale applications. They are seeking a Power Systems Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be instrumental in grid compliance, asset modelling, and commissioning compliance study supports. Responsibilities : Support the commercial team in bidding preparation by preparing model packages. Work closely with HQ teams to resolve clients' issue trackers promptly, ensuring optimal technical outcomes for projects. Collaborate with product, R&D, and modelling team to gain a solid understanding on hardware, software, RMS and EMT models of products. Prepare and review technical notes and reports. Support the commercial team in reviewing relevant documents, particularly in relation to Generator Performance Standards - R1, R2. Participate in R2 model validation site testing and prepare hold point test reports. Participate in reviewing and negotiating connection agreements. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Power Electronics or Power System Engineering is required; a master's degree is preferable. Minimum of 3 years industry experience. Strong understanding of technical requirements (NER Schedule S5.2 and S5.3) Solid knowledge of power systems, power electronics, and control principles. Proficiency in PSCAD, PSS/E, Python, MATLAB, and DIgSILENT/Power Factory. Experience working/liaising with AEMO, NSP is preferable.
