The success of this contractor is reinforced by the quality and expertise of their staff, collaborative approach to business and their skill at providing flexible solutions to civil construction challenges. Our client works across SEQ on DTMR & Local Gov projects. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Project Manager in managing and coordinating all aspects of the project from inception to completion, ensuring it is delivered within scope, budget, and timeline Oversee the construction activities, ensuring they meet the quality, safety, and environmental standards Manage a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards Identify and resolve project issues and risks, implementing corrective actions as required Liaise with key stakeholders, including DTMR, local authorities, and the community Contribute to the development of project documentation, including technical specifications, construction plans, and designs. Requirements: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field At least 6-8 years of experience on civil construction projects, in road construction, with at least 2 years as Senior Project Engineer Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, preferably for government clients Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels Sound knowledge of project management methodologies, including risk management, scheduling, and budgeting Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, including Workplace Health and Safety How to Apply: If you are a motivated and skilled Senior Project Engineer with a passion for delivering exceptional results, we would love to hear from you.
