About the role As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will have an intimate understanding of IT Security and have a good grasp on technology and the components that underpin a modern SOC and ICT environment. You will contribute to SOC post sales activities, be heavily involved in security tool deployments and work with customers and internal SOC analysts to ensure our managed service offerings continue to lead the market and protect our customers. Collaborate within the SOC and with internal AC3 teams required to implement and support cyber managed service solutions. Provide advice on SIEM management, infrastructure, log ingestion and normalisation in order to support the ongoing development of use cases and their dependencies. Develop and implement SIEM, SOAR, and ITSM integrations including threat intelligence feeds, authentication systems, and response systems (firewalls, proxies, etc). Maintain, deploy and support SIEM tools within the SOC. Essential Experience 3 years experience working in an MSP as a Systems Engineer Mandatory experience with Administration, Patching, and maintenance of Linux, Public/Private Cloud, and Windows Server environments Any experience with Cyber Security Tool deployment highly regarded (but not mandatory), including tools such as QRadar, Carbon Black, Splunk, and Microsoft Sentinel.
