About the role: Working across multiple projects to provide effective scheduling, cost management, change control as well as risk management for project and outage. This role provides guidance and support on project processes and governance to ensure adherence to the division's project controls guidelines for successful delivery. Why this role matters? Provide project controls leadership and support to assigned program/projects; Lead, influence and support the delivery of project controls function through development and implementation of framework and work processes; Facilitate the planning and preparation of Master schedules that aid In timely reporting of progress against targets, resources are adequately planned and cost are accurately forecasted. Preparation of accurate and timely reports for program/project managers with critical path analysis while providing strategies for mitigating variances relating to scheduling, resources and cost as required. Consult with stakeholders (eg. contractors, suppliers, team members) to collect, interpret and analyse project information. Be based on site during outages or execution for 4 to 8-week blocks as required (regional SA). What will you bring? Strong experience in outages / shutdown / maintenance planning for heavy industry or energy projects – preferably Gas Energy Generation. Demonstrated previous experience in Project Controls roles especially in planning, cost control and risk management for large capital projects Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6 experience. Relevant tertiary qualification In Engineering, Project Management or Construction Management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High understanding on Critical Path Analysis, Earned Value Management, Estimating, Forecasting and Contingency Management. So, why join us?
