Key Responsibilities Plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements for efficiency. Improve quality and throughput using Six Sigma concepts. Lead the production team to enhance yield, cycle time, and productivity. Monitor KPIs and metrics on process capability and product quality. Maintenance & Compliance: Oversee maintenance of all plant and equipment to minimize downtime. Implement preventative maintenance programs and maintain spare parts inventory. Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and coordinate complex requirements with external contractors. Ensure the shop floor has necessary manpower, skills, and equipment. Monitor operations for quality standards and conduct regular meetings with the team. Address rejected products promptly and implement corrective actions. Lead continuous improvement activities to reduce inventory, increase throughput, and cut costs. Manage design, fabrication, and commissioning of new or replacement equipment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or suitable trade background. 10 years in manufacturing operations. Lean Six Sigma trained (Green Belt or Black Belt). Experience with tapes, coatings, and packaging is a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software.
