Join us on a max-term contract of 12 months based out of Western Australia's Pilbara region, employed out of Perth on a 86 day shift FIFO roster followed with 77 night shift FIFO roster. You will be required to have flexibility and mobility in the workplace, available to work at nights, weekends and on public holidays as a fly in fly out employee. Projects will include: BHP Key Responsibilities Create/review Technical documentation, such as test plans, test specifications, Test procedure and test reports. Execute Engineering Type Tests at site for different rolling stock classes. Provide technical support for engineering design and installation Liaise between the engineering team in Australia and international design and other functions within the project i.e., safety, test and commissioning teams Report progress against schedule, highlighting key issues and risks Provide on-site to vehicle survey, support installation, and test activities Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Tertiary Qualification in Engineering - Electronics/Electrical Proven knowledge and experience in the areas of railway systems, preferably with locomotive ATP (ETCS) integration Demonstrated design, system interface, installation and project delivery experience Excellent stakeholder management skills including ability to interface with suppliers, customers, partners and internal stakeholders Things you'll enjoy Join us on a transformative journey - the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
