The team Information Technology Services provides a wide range of IT facilities and support services to ASIC. Digital Workplace Services (DWS) is part of the larger IT services team. We have embarked on a major digital transformation journey which will make ASIC a 'best in class' regulator supporting the Australian financial markets. The role As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will work collaboratively in the DWS Security & Mobility team on designing, building, operating, enhancing, life-cycle management and onboarding mobility & security services (FortiGate Next-gen firewalls & SD-WAN, Netskope Secure Access Edge Services, Zero Trust Network Access, Intrusion prevention and Advanced Thread Protection). About you We are looking for someone with strong people & technology leadership skills with extensive experience in a similar environment & have a Good understanding and experience with wider DWS technologies outside of your team's domain (Enterprise networks, M365, Mobility & Security). You will also have/be accountable for but not limited to: Contribute to defining a fit for purpose strategy for Digital Workplace Services Maintain an ongoing relationship with partners, key stakeholders, and clients of your services Implement the approved strategy associated with Mobility & Security Services and contribute to implementation of ASIC's wider Digital Workplace Strategy Management and onboarding mobility & security services (FortiGate Next-gen firewalls & SD-WAN, Netskope Secure Access Edge Services, Zero Trust Network Access, Intrusion prevention and Advanced Thread Protection) Ability to effectively develop content and present information to different target audiences both verbally and in writing Identify and implement efficiencies in infrastructure through automation of design, build and operational functions (SRE framework) Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills Tertiary qualifications & Certification in SASE, CASB, Remote Access and Firewalls is desirable About ASIC ASIC's remit is one of the broadest of regulators across the world.
