The Opportunity Reporting to the Maintenance Manager within our Western Harbour Tunnel and Sydney Harbour Tunnel Asset Management Services contract, the Asset Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the implementation of our Asset Management System including all correlating responsibilities. As our Maintenance Engineer, you will also be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, control activities and coordinating the delivery of Maintenance and Project works. Benefits Permanent position within a long-standing contract Variety in your work week with a combination of site visits and office days (North Sydney) Join an environment where career progression is fostered Supportive management and positive team environment Access to a range of Ventia's employee benefits - discounted private health insurance, paid parental leave, discounted travel etc Primary Responsibilities Support the development, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the Asset Management strategies and plans Review existing or develop new Technical Maintenance Plans (TMPs) for various asset types with reference to the Maintenance Requirements Analysis procedure, site, and contractual requirements Assist various teams with engineering solutions for repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect assets operations by applying data analysis techniques and RCA/RCFA targeting OEE improvements Preparing various reports and presentations including, but not limited to: Monthly Reports, maintenance performance and KPI dashboard reports, asset condition, performance data and tunnel closure analysis Extract, refine, analyse, and utilise maintenance and asset performance data to enable informed decisions to be made in relation to asset renewal/refurbishment, disposal, and planned maintenance programs Use the asset information management system (AIMS) to plan/schedule, generate, distribute work orders to work parties (internal and external) Assist the work parties to properly and timely close out the work orders and raise follow up work orders Track and report the overall condition and performance of assets within site to the Asset Manager and Maintenance Team, as well as develop and suggest rectification plans and assist with the implementation Provide training, support and troubleshooting to AIMS users Undertake asset data gathering, validation/integrity checks on the maintenance and asset data Perform asset condition assessment by undertaking site visits and desktop evaluation Auditing closed work orders from field staff to identify any gaps or improvements Formalising asset condition documents for subcontractors Conduct weekly lookahead meeting, including 3rd party works and identifying interface risks Closure planning and coordination, schedule and chair closure planning meetings, prepare materials for closure notifications and nightly coordination meetings Could you be our next Asset Maintenance Engineer? Tertiary qualifications in engineering are a must Strong stakeholder management skills (internal and external) Experience implementing an AIMS/CMMS Working knowledge of asset management principles (ISO 55000) Proven experience in Asset Engineering Previous exposure to road maintenance or construction activities Proven ability to extract, refine, analyse, interpret and use Engineering data Understanding of Asset Management and O&M principles and standards, in particular AIMS (preferably Maximo) About the contract Ventia was awarded the Western Harbour Tunnel and Sydney Harbour Tunnel Asset Management Services contract by Transport for NSW in April 2022.
