About The Role Ventia have an opportunity for a Network Engineer to join our Western Roads Upgrade contract based out of our Laverton North depot for a Permanent Full-Time opportunity. Based out of Laverton North Established team expanding due to major projects & increased workload Permanent Opportunity You will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for: Identify and recommend the relevant remedial treatment for identified asset defects, provide an estimate of the scope, size and timing of the treatment as well as management and ownership of the delivery of the defect rectification Management of Subcontracts and Subcontractors as well as internal delivery crews as required Monitor and ensure delivery complies to contract KPIs Reporting daily site events within minimum WRU standards or as directed Investigate customer complaints and queries to identify action required, provide feedback to the asset manager or maintenance manager Attend toolbox meetings with the Works Managers and crews to provide feedback on standards of repairs and to receive feedback on quality of defect information / works orders prepared Support and monitor the supervision of maintenance works as required Identify, facilitate and maintain open relevant communication with stakeholders Any other duties as reasonably directed About You To be successful in this position you will possess the following: Bachelor or Higher Degree in Engineering White Card Unrestricted drivers licence 5 years experience in a similar role Experience in roadworks or civil construction Basis traffic management skills and knowledge Risk awareness and management Skills to determine size and cost of defect treatments Interpreting network data, specifications and site data What We Offer You Not only do we offer a competitive salary and career growth, we have also partnered with some reputable organisations to be able to offer discounts on Health Insurance, Banking (new home loans, credit cards, everyday bank accounts), flights & accommodation, car hire, car leasing and much more.
