A rare opportunity has presented itself within the company for an ambitious Senior/Associate Structural Engineer to help take the business and their career to the next level. The Opportunity As a Senior/Associate Structural Engineer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Design of a wide range of structures including education, aged-care, warehouses, apartments etc. Lead the structural design and analysis of projects from concept through to completion. Perform detailed calculations and analysis to ensure structures are safe, efficient, and compliant. Liaising with clients and architects regarding project related matters. Mentoring junior members of staff and contributing to their professional development. The Successful Applicant In order to successful for this role you will ideally have: At least 5 years’ structural design experience working in a consultancy environment preferably within the local Melbourne market. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Experience across the structural design of apartments, schools and aged-care facilities. Knowledge of Australian Standards for structural design of concrete, steel and timber. Experience using structural engineering software such as Structural Toolkit, SpaceGass, Inducta, Wallap, ETABS or RAPT (preferred).
