Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC30-A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft-a derivative of the Airbus A330-200. Your Role Northrop Grumman has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering and Technical Services Manager based in Brisbane, operating out of the RAAF Amberley base in direct support of the KC-30A fleet. Reporting directly to the KC-30A Integrated Logistics Manager, and functionally to the Engineering Services Manager, for the effective task management of all engineering, technical and airworthiness tasks, this senior position is a key role. This role will develop vision, support strategy and execution to achieve both the goals of the Commonwealth and Northrop Grumman. A key leadership aspect of this position will be leading a team with a culture focused on healthy planning, execution, monitoring and control as well as continuous improvement and optimising the supportive environment. About You You will be qualified in either engineering or other relevant technical qualification, with experience leading a complex and diverse team. You will be a strong leader with excellent communication and relationship management skills, and exceptional customer management. A prior demonstrated experience in a Defence/Aviation environment is crucial, and a comprehensive knowledge of the regulations and standards applicable to airworthiness is desirable but not essential. A strong understanding of entire product lifecycle and engineering best practices, including the delivery of Continuing Airworthiness (CA) services.
