Must have skills: Mastery in Power BI, including data modelling, visualisations, and DAX. Proficient in SQL and Snowflake for data querying and governed views. Expertise in creating efficient semantic models and managing dataflows. Adherence to governance policies and consistent report formatting. Understanding of retail dynamics and translating business needs into technical outcomes. Quick learner with exceptional problem-solving skills Technical Skills : Power BI Expertise : Mastery in developing end-to-end Power BI reports, including data modelling, visualisations, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) calculations. Data Modelling : Understanding how to create an efficient semantic model that optimises data relationships and enhances report performance. Dataflows Management : Familiarity with creating and managing dataflows to streamline data preparation and transformation. SQL Proficiency : Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases, with preferred experience in Snowflake for writing governed views as required. Governance and Design : Adhering to team governance policies and design guidelines while creating reports. Report Formatting : Ability to format reports consistently according to organisational templates and branding guidelines. Business Skills : Retail Insight : Understanding retail dynamics and business context to align data insights with strategic goals. Business Translation : Ability to translate business requirements into technical outcomes, ensuring reports meet stakeholders’ expectations. Qualifications : Proven experience in developing Power BI reports, including data modelling, visualisations, and DAX calculations. Strong proficiency in SQL, with preferred experience in Snowflake.
